Good parking in the back. Beds and pajamas were good. View was good of the sake museum although screened. Free laundry was a plus but since many people want to use it I had to try so hard to use it. But when I actually could it worked great. Onsen was good. The best part of this hotel is the free laundry and onsen next to each other. Also big sized pajamas for xl size (only time of trip I saw that size available). So I could use park, use pajama, and take normal bath and private room bath. The room was also very cute with side toilet and side shower. You can close the door to the entryway too. It is nice room.

Everything was perfect: - location is in the very center of the town, 12min walk from train station - employees at reception are very nice and helpful - rooms are clean and cute, as always with Onyado Nono hotels - very good onsen : several hot springs baths, and even 4 private baths onsen rooms - there are available sets of yukata to wear in the hotel - welcome drinks and juices in the lobby are pleasant , as well as free ice creams, yakult and evening ramen - breakfast was excellent and the staff made the effort to change my menu for the 2nd morning (note : there is no western breakfast but this is not an issue for me) - dinner was excellent, the employee did her best to explain the English menu, it was very clear

The inn was so beautiful and many wonderful qualities. It's location is in the middle of a lively street full of shops and restaurants and a close (though uphill) walk to a temple. The in-room amenities were wonderful: whole coffee beans, a grinder, a coffee pot and cups, a separate teapot and teacups, pajamas, robes, and any necessary toiletries. The provided breakfast and dinner was delicious, traditional Japanese fare with English menus to explain the nightly courses (though I'd still suggest having a translator app). Last, but certainly not least: the baths were incredible. I appreciate that the private baths did not need a reservation and were all themed differently. So relaxing!! All my worries melted away here.

I had booked with breakfast and dinner. Excellent food for dinner, menu changed every night. Breakfast was also good, but for a hotel of this category I found that plastic cups and glasses don't quite match the feel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to train station to visit Takamatsu ecc.

The exterior presents as a grand traditional inn almost at the foot of the famous shrine Kotohiragū, but the interiors are all in an elegant modern Japanese style. My room was small but perfectly formed, Japanese-western in design and very comfortable. The onsen was wonderful, with a choice of indoor and outdoor baths. Dinner was an excellent kaiseki meal, and breakfast had some served dishes but some buffet dishes so there was a lot of choices. I appreciated the free washing machines and dryers, especially for a short stay.

Everything. Check-in was smooth, rooms were decently big enough with cute chairs in the room. Each room even has a filter coffee brewing kit with hand grinders and beans!! First time I've ever seen this. They have communal baths, but also 4 private baths. There is no reservation required and you simply go in when it's empty. Each of the 4 has different decor/themes so I highly recommend checking them all out. They also have various coloured yukata for both men and women to pick! No more boring blue yukatas. It's absolutely fantastic. Meals were a major highlight of the stay. Each little dish was so prefectly cooked with great balance of flavours. The waitress attending to us was also super friendly. In my two weeks in Japan, this is definitely top 3 in all the meals I had. I'm definitely coming back to stay. I recommend 2 night stay at least to fully enjoy the facilities. Or at least a full 2 days 1 night.

Location is great. It’s close to the train station and if you take the right road, you just do three turns. Straight down to the end of the street, left, then right when you see a steady stream of hikers to Konpira. The hotel is close by, easy to find with it’s facade. Take off your shoes and find a locker for it. Clip that key to your room key-almost lost mine. Breakfast is mostly Japanese preparations. There are 6-7 different baths. Regular, lying down, heavy stream for shoulder and back, individual tub, smaller bath, sauna, very cold bath for sauna and those who feel too hot. Konpira has 1368 steps but negotiable except near the top I got mosquitoes attracted by my heat. Hotel offers bamboo sticks for hikers. I used two, easier to climb the last leg. Some people return at the large temple complex.. Felt energized after hiking and onsen. Lots of small stores that sell snacks for after your hike.

Lovely hotel with many small nice touches. The private onsen rooms (4) were readily available with no reservations needed. Very awesome if you are traveling as a family. Food was pretty good but not outstanding. However the price felt fair.
